Three Roads: A Requiem TTRPG Story (Beta)
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Three Roads
Three paths. A silent watcher. Choices that follow you back.
A narrative fantasy visual novel set in the world of Requiem.
A traveler with no memory of their past arrives at a crossroads.
Waiting there is Vulture, a deity of fate and apathy, who offers three roads and little explanation.
Each road leads to different people facing circumstances beyond their control. Who deserves help? What are you willing to sacrifice? And what happens when a choice doesn't turn out the way you expected?
The traveler may choose a road, experience its consequences, and return to the crossroads. But what they've witnessed doesn't simply disappear.
Vulture remembers. The traveler remembers. And sometimes, knowing what happened before changes what becomes possible next.
What to Expect
- Three distinct story routes, each with its own characters, conflicts, and decisions.
- 21 collectible endings to discover across the three roads.
- Conversations that change as the traveler learns about the world.
- Knowledge and discoveries that can carry across repeated journeys.
- Optional conversations with Vulture about the consequences of your decisions.
- An underlying mystery involving the traveler's forgotten past.
This is a story about choice, responsibility, regret, and what people do when the world refuses to make things fair.

Why I Made This Game
Three Roads is a personal experiment in solo indie game development.
I wanted to challenge myself with a simple question:
How much of a playable narrative game could I create in roughly one week?
Rather than spend months planning a large project, I decided to take an idea from my fantasy setting, Requiem, and see how far I could develop it using Ren'Py.
I wanted to experiment with branching stories, player agency, character interactions, persistent consequences, sound design, and game systems that react to what a player has experienced.
This beta represents approximately one week of development in October 2026.
The purpose wasn't to prove that a finished commercial game could or should be made in a week. I wanted to challenge my own abilities, learn through building something playable, and see what worked.
About This Beta
This is an experimental beta build, not a fully polished final release.
The game is playable and contains its planned narrative routes and endings, but there may still be bugs, awkward transitions, balancing issues, or areas that need improvement.
I'm sharing it because I want people to experience what I've built and tell me what they think.
I'm particularly interested in whether the choices feel meaningful, the characters feel believable, and the game provides enough information for players to make decisions without revealing things too early.
A Note About Development
This project was developed independently under Sanon Interactive, with the assistance of AI tools during parts of the development process.
AI-assisted tools were used to support spelling and editing. The game was developed with a focus on experimenting with what one person could build within a limited timeframe.
This beta is an opportunity to evaluate those results and learn from actual player experiences.
Feedback Is Welcome
If you decide to play, I'd appreciate hearing about your experience.
What did you enjoy? What confused you? Were there moments where you felt your decisions genuinely mattered? Did anything break or behave unexpectedly?
Bug reports, constructive criticism, and general impressions are all welcome in the comments.
If you're reporting a technical problem, please include whether you were playing on Windows or macOS, along with a brief description of when the issue occurred.
Thank you for giving this your time.
